My DH and I had our four month old baby boy pass away in June 2007. He was born with a birth defect that was supposed to be fixable but he never recovered from his last surgery. We have been nervous about going through something like this again but at the same time we remember the pure joy that our baby brought us. In trying again over the last 10 months, we have had two miscarriages. We are still not ready to give up though.

There are no guarantees in life. Sometimes you learn this the hard way. But there is no greater gift then bringing life into this world. Don't let fear stop you from your dreams. That's just my two cents...

RE said our choices were to keep trying on our own, hit or miss, since we can get pregnant very easily or go through IVF with PGD to increase our chances of having a healthy connection.

Current meds: 1000 mg of Metformin, baby aspirin

Taking fertility herbs: vitex, red raspberry leaf, red clover, false unicorn root. Also take evening primrose oil and vitamin E with high folic acid prenatal. Have changed diet to mostly organic, all natural, no preservatives plus DH and I juice twice daily. Something has to give!!!
