Oh Stephanie, I'm so sorry. It sounds like the best thing for Cajun would be to leave him in the room with nothing to jump on. Our dog used to jump on the furniture. He was old and had a bad back. We had to put him down on Monday after he slipped a disk and just couldn't recover.
I think he jumped on the couch while we weren't home and slipped the disk. I hope your sweet kitty gets better soon.
