My doctor's office always does three weeks. So, you're on a full cycle of them, get AF, then start the stims, or whatever you need for a FET.

The PIO is progesterone. It's really thick, so it takes a long time to inject. Some people have bad reactions to it. My BFF was alergic to the oil and had to switch to something else.

I would much rather do the shots than other forms, if given the choice. I rarely felt the shot itself, and couldn't see it since DH was behind me. I would sit on a heating pad for a half hour afterward. Overall it seemed like a lot less hassle and mess than other forms. And, it was nice to have DH get involved, not only so I wasn't doing everything on my own, but also so he felt like he was participating in the process.
