I asked Maryanne about this question (Nurse at CORM here in Houston) and she said they will give you your beta if it's obvious you are pregnant (i.e. high first beta)...the waiting for the second beta is more for those who have low first initial betas (i.e. less than 10 or 15) and they normally would say it is negative. At our clinic, they consider less than 10 to be negative...but they also realize that they are doing their testing really early now so they need to be a little more relaxed in what they call "negative" or "chemical". So I would think that since Jenifer is already showing a BFP on her blood work they can tell her beta numbers to her.
