Hi Ladies- I have a question for those of you that were diagnosed with mild endo. What were you advised by your RE after the diagnosis? What were your next steps? Did you have a lap to remove the endo? I'm guessing so since I know the only way to diagnose endo. is via lap. surgery. I guess I'm one of the unfortunate few that was diagnosed but nothing was removed.
I had to have emergency surgery a few years back to rule out an ectopic pregnancy. It was at that time my RE discovered I had mild endo. yet didn't do anything.I soon left that practice! It seems the opinions vary about having a lap done from what I was told (and read). Different schools of thought I guess. Some say for mild endo. it really doesn't help much with regard to TTC, others say differently. I have a hysterscopy planned to remove a polyp and scar tissue so I'm debating on seeing if a lap. done at the same time might be beneficial. Also (one last question!), for those that had surgery to remove mild endo, did you notice a difference after the surgery, TTC?
