Jenn-My RE told us we could move on to IUI when we were ready(The RE was the doctor that did my lap). We decided with the 6-9 month window of increased fertility that we would give it 2 tries on our own and then move on to IUI. He didn't actually say to start IUI "immediately". I'm just impatient.
I suppose since I was seeing an RE rather than a gyno, his approach was a little more aggressive. Best of luck to you!!! Let me know if you have any other questions.
