How was your experience? Very good. I am happy with my RE. I actually went at about 10 months TTC. It helped to have him give me some peace of mind that I was cleared (had the painful HSG test, no blockage, and everything else looked normal) and DH had good swimmers. Tried IUI once and back to natural. May try again later this summer.
Did you’re Dr. explain everything in detail? Yes very detailed.
Did you’re insurance company cover the visit? Insurance covered diagnostic for me (testing, etc) but no treatments. IUI runs about $650 per try.
If you haven’t seen an RE, can you explain why?

9/07-11/07: 3 cycles of Clomid (did not work) 
1/18: Began accupuncture
2/15: Progesterone at 21.6
3/15: My first appt with RE (normal ultrasound)
3/28: First HSG Test - Tubes All Clear!!!!
4/1: First planned IUI 
4/7: Progesterone > 20 Good sign!!!
