I just got my blood work back for the second time; FSH 8.33, Estradiol 41, AMH 0.8. Apparently, this means that I have low ovarian reserve. I am 35 so, I expected the numbers to be slightly lower than normal. I didn't expect it to be so low.
I am planning to do ER and ET in August. But, these numbers scare me a bit. The clinic doesn't seem to optimistic about my chances.
I have seen worse numbers out there and yes, they got pregnant.
Here is my question though. What weight would you put on AMH? I am more concerned about responding to the drugs and the retrieval. I know the ultimate goal is to get pregnant but, at this point I would settle for a few good quality eggs first!
So, did anyone get good eggs with a low AMH and if you wouldn't mind what was your protocol?
And I totally messed up this the title of this post! It should have been AMH! Grr!
