I am so sorry and good luck for blood result.
I was recently going through this nightmare. I dignosed with ectopic pregnancy in the 1st week of June. My beta level increase first at appropriate rate but then decrease and again increased.
I took MTX shot on the last wednesday. I just got mild cramps on first day. I was also afraid before taking it but it was not bad as I thought. I think more difficult is to deal with our emotions. Only I am bleeding on and off from the last 2 weeks..I don't know why? Did anyone experience that in ectopic prgnancy?

IVF#1 (May 2008)
5/06: ER, 15 eggs, 9 Fertilized
5/11: ET 2 blastocyst embryos, 4 snow babies

After 1 week, Beta increased/decreased randomly
6/10: Detected Ectopic pregnancy
6/11 Methotrexate injection
As per RE, wait for 2 month to strat another cycle
FET#1 (sept 2008)
Thawed first 2 and both survived, Still 2 on ice
9/23: ET 2 embryos. (lining 8mm)
10/03: Beta:  
FET#2 (Dec 2008)
10/09: RE consultation, using same protocal as FET#1
10/10: Start BCP
11/01: Start Lupron 10 units
11/03: Last BCP
11/14: US and BW
11/18: Start 2mg Estrace twice a day, switched Lupron to 5 units
worried as we have only 2 embryos, praying hard  
Tentative ET: 12/6 or 12/7
