New to Forum
Hi guys,
I am new to this and really just looking for some support on this journey of TTC. My husband (30 years old) and I (25 years old) started trying to concieve a year ago. I have had two miscarriages and I have recently been diagnosed with PCOS. I was put on Metformin, Femera, and a week ago my husband injected me with my first Ovidrel shot. I got my progesterone levels today and they were at a 19 (which I guess is ok considering I was at a 6 on a cycle without these meds) I am praying I will be pregnant soon and hope you all will be as well. All of this can be overwhealming!  to you all!

8/07  chemical pregnancy10/07 Miscarried at 5.5 weeks4/08-Diagnosed with PCOS/Short Leutal Phase 5/08-Delayed due to two large cysts 6/30- First failed cycle of Femara  arrived7/2-Began second round of Femara 7/21- mid luteal progesterone level at 25.2  7/26-12 dpo  7/27- 13dpo BETA HCG- 229 Progesterone 36.2 for those numbers to double. RE says it looks like a viable pregnancy so far.

 This forum is a great place to get support and hear from other women going through the same thing. Just knowing you're not alone in this is immensely comforting! Good luck to you!

TTC since 11/05 Me 31: tubal issues, random polyps that disappear on their own DH 33: on the low side, but good enough 4/07-11/07 - 5 rounds chlomid  3/3/08 - OB-GYN recommended IVF IVF #1 in July '08 7/5 start Lupron 7/9 baseline - 11 follicles on each side plus a tiny uterine fibroid 7/12 start stims 7/23 ER got 8 mature eggs - 7 of them fertilized! 7/26: 3-day transfer of two "pretty good" embryos w/ fragmentation, 1 frozen blast 8/6 Beta FET #1 in Aug/Sept '08 8/12 baseline & start estrace 9/11 transferred one blast 9/20 + HPT  (Never seen one of those before!) Beta #1 = 31 (not so great)9/23 Beta #2 = 86 still cautiously optimistic 9/26 Beta #3 = 362!! 10/8 u/s 10/14 1st prenatal appt.

Me 34 - PCOS DH 39 - Count better(110 ml), but still mot and morp issues  TTC 4 years 2 year wait to see RE than RE takes 5 months off! 10/07-6/08- 6 rounds of Clomid all = BFN RE at end of May 28/08 = need to wait for DH appt. at IVF clinic to see if his sperm will survive the wash and respond properly to “fallopian tube environment” – July 08 Passed the Test! 5/08 Testing for Lymphoma- Negative!!! I just have Sarcoidosis. 6/08 Can’t get follow up appointment with RE until September. IUI that should of started in the spring will now be in fall--Am considering moving to the third world, than will not be surprised at inadequate health care. 8/08 Hysteroscopy and Lap removed polyp from uterus and adhesions to ovary and fallopian tubes, adhesions not previously diagnosed. 1st IUI 9/08 9/25 & 26 BTB IUI 10/10 Beta 3 dogs & 3 cats

Failed First Cycle
Well I got a
yesterday, I am a little down. Tomorrow I go in for my next ultrasound to see if I can start my second round of Femara/Ovidrel. Thanks for welcoming me, I am excited to have somewhere I can talk about these cycles as they happen. Here's hoping we will all be  soon!

Hi, I am new to this too. My husband and I are trying to concieve our first baby. I'm not sure if its just nerves or what! I hope everything works out and hope to talk soon.

Hey I am new as well and my DH and I have also been TTC for about a year now. I am glad there are ppl to go through this with because everybody I am close to can get pregnant so easily.... it really gets me down. (In my previous relationship we were TTC for 5 years) SO... anyway. I am here with you!

Me: 25 (PCOS) DH: 24 (unknown) TTC for 1 year naturally, was TTC for 5 years in past relationship. Jazzi Flame Cindy Yasha Dallas (All longhair Chihuahuas) 6/15/08 Started Metformin and Spironolactone?? 6/29/08 for first time since January, so I guess this is a good thing?? Means something is working anyway 7/12/08 time for 2WW 7/18/08 already????  8/01/08 2WW again....Also see my doctor on 8/06/08 for normal checkup but will be talking to her about being referred to a fertility specialist. 8/05/08 AGAIN why so early?????????? Also had to cancel my appointment because they won't do the paps!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRR 8/21/08 Yet ANOTHER 9/12/08 it's getting closer to "regular"  and had a PERFECT PAP on 9/10/08 time to make appointment with OB9/29/08 Have an appt. on 10/28/08 with my new OB/GYN to talk about our infertility.

I have PCOS too so I know how frustrating it can be. It seems all my friends have already gotten pregnant as well and without a problem. I am happy for them but a little jealous as well. Good luck and keep me updated on your progress.

Well soo far I am just on metformin.... we have been trying for a year...we arent actually getting married until september 12... but we know we want kids and I knew I would have trouble because of trying before in another relationship.... so we didnt want to NOT try....After the wedding we are going to be more aggressive about testing/treatment. My doctor wants to put me on clomid next... but we want to get my "DH" tested before I am put on that.

I feel more comfy...
Whenever I come on here and I hear from you guys, it really reassures me that there is still good in people. TTC is not easy at all and like Channy said, everybody Im close seems to have no prob getting preggers. Oh well I know that God will never put more on me that I can bear, so Im persevering, isnt that what we're all doing? RE said my HSG, bloodwork and vag ultrasound were fine, 18 follicles on each ovary and a small fibroid that he's not worried about but wants a saline ultrasound to get a petter look at. We're going to take an injection class and the ultrasound on Day 3 and start our first clomid cycle in September. Thanks for u guys being honest cos it really helps me deal with this. Praying for you all everyday.:grouphug:
