I am new to this site, I have been ttc for a little over a year. This cycle was very odd and I wanted a little advice. I have been on 1500 mgs of Metformin since August 23,2005 and I took 100 mgs of clomid days 3-7 this cycle. I thought today was cd 9 but I have been spotting sporadically and so now Im not sure if today is day 1 and I took the clomid too early, my question is do you think it will hurt anything if I take clomid again for 5 days @ 100 mgs? I have learned a lot by researching on my own, I just wanted a little advice, would it hurt anything?

I wouldn't take another dose. Spotting is common and you can spot for some time- but as long as you counted day 1 as your first day of actual "flow" you should be fine.
I would think the extra meds could either blow the whole cycle or overstimulate your ovaries- I would just stick with what you have done thus far.

thank you, my cycle was really crazy thats the only thing that made me wonder......but I deffinatly do not want to blow the whole cycle so I will just be patient. Thank you for your help and good luck to you!!
