I did have my karyotype done on Monday. DH will try to get in this week, it's difficult for him because he works a strange second shift and we live an hour away from where he works. So he's going to try to go in on his way home from work one day this week since the lab at the hospital is open 24 hours a day. However, he made a good point to me. He knows how I work (after 8 years he should!) and he knows that if this test comes back and says that we are both fine chromosomally that I'll keep pushing for more. I want to know why our embryos fertilized so poorly, I want to know why they developed so poorly and stopped growing/dividing so early. The chromosomal abnormality thing will make perfect sense but if we are both fine then it's back to the drawing board. I guess I'm looking for closure, looking for comfort, looking for an answer that may not be available to me. Is that wrong of me? Is it selfish of me?

Jen,
I do not think that is selfish at all. You deserve to have all of your answers answered. And I do not think there is anything wrong with that.
