The waiting is so depressing

Everything is about time. I wait and wait and wait. Wait for appointments, wait for my OBGYN to free his schedule enough from his PG patients to treat lowly me - they postponed my HSG twice. Finally, I'm getting it done tomorrow LATE in my cycle.

From everything I was told it seems as if HSGs are supposed to be done early in your cycle. Just as long as this doesn't cause me more issues, whatever. Also, we had to hold off TTCing this month just in case (yea right) that we would get PG only to have the HSG ruin it.

I just want my fertility clinic referral that my OB won't give me until we've "exhausted all other options."

I have such little hope. I feel like I'm living this double life. The only people who know about our struggles are my parents but the type of family I come from, this isn't something we discuss. I feel like a failure, an utter failure.

All I keep thinking is about how much longer I'm going to have to wait for results and then for appointments and then for more tests. All this wasted time...

Sorry for being a downer. It's not a "good" day. It seems as if those are few and far between whenever it comes to TTCing.

Hang in there!! I know the waiting is not easy and seems like a waste of time. But we have to get tests done as per the doctor's schedules and our cycle schedules.
You're not alone. We've all been there at some point and many others are going through this too. We understand and we're here for you.
Good luck with everything!!

Waiting is killing us!!

We are on the same boat....
I had my UI on 7/14 and have to wait until 7/21 to test and the waiting is killing me... I have been feeling some cramps which are not new to me since I usually get pms syntoms like 2 weeks before my period is due.... We have been ttc for 1 year 7 months and this is my second clomid cycle..
The doctor told us to think happy thoughts... but is sooo hard...

Make SURE that you are not pg before getting that HSG. Apparently, they like to do it on CD8-14, before you ovulate, before you can be pg. What I was told was that if you are pg, it is possible that the force of the dye can dislodge a embryo and push it up into the tube or ovary, where it would then become ectopic. I was worried because I really wanted mine done this cycle and I am going out of town next week. I got lucky and got my period in time, but the Dr. said they could do it later in the cycle, I would just have to not BD or be very careful and use condoms cause the high risk there.

I am sorry you have to get a referral to go to the RE. Ob/gyns really don't have the time to give us the attention we need on this journey. I hope you don't need that referral and get pg, but if they find any problem whatsoever, push your ob/gyn into giving you that referral!

The waiting does suck. Each month you wonder, is this the month? You do the 2 week wait and then you get your period. Then you start again. Hang in there. I hope your HSG goes well and your doctor will refer you to a specialist. I am on clomid and will have the IUI on Friday. I'm anxious but trying to be hopeful.

Saw the Gyn, my regular Gyn was on vacation. Didn't like this one a lot. No IUI this month as planned, and no Letrozole either, there is still a follicle in my ovary, that might turn into a cyst.
So, just going to relax this month, she gave me Duphostone for my next period as I hardly get AF on my own.
Maybe me and DH should take that vacation this month, I am thinking Egypt !
Ladies let me know how IUI goes for you.

Thanks "cat" for the support.
Did I tell you all that I ovulated on my own this cycle , thats a big improvement for me.
I am feeling positive, although I have got 2 already, I think its still early, I will wait and see what happens, my temps are pretty high after ovulation , at 9 dpo I felt like I had a fever my temp was 99.4, but I didn't feel sick, since then temps are between 98.5- 99.4 (various times of the day), BBT is 98.5,
I als have sore BB's, had a creamy discharge on 9 & 10 dpo, slight pain in my left ovary, slight nausea (especially while driving and in elevators)....... I hope these are signs I am always confused with the symptoms.

Thanks for being there
