Hi, I have been TTC for over 5 years, 3 years ago diagnosed with PCOS w/insulin resistance. I was put on Metformin a year and a half ago. The middle of june I had an ultra-sound and my gyne said i was producing follicles but just wasnt ovulating. He gave me clomid. Got AF June 26. Took the clomind days 5-9. I am due for AF July 26 which is in 7 days. I am not sure if had worked. I have some strange things going on with my body. Could this still be side effects from the clomid? If i did get PG would I be having symptoms this soon? How soon could I test pos. with a home test? Sorry so long and so many questions. I am lost right now!!!

Is your OBGYN monitoring you on clomid so you know you are ovulating? I took clomid for 6 months unmonitored and I don't recommend it. I still didn't ovulate early enough in my cycle to work. You can do a home test in a couple of days. If it's positive it should read it by then. There are some home pregnancy test junkies around here so they should be able to help you more than me. Welcome though and good luck with your IF! Hopefully your journey is short.

its possible to have symptoms this early its only 6 days earlier....exciting!!..but I agree that your gyne is surpose to be monitoring your usuage on clomid to make sure you are ovulating properly. try a hpt in a few days!! ...I would contact my gyne for an appointment and ask any questions you may have. make sure he or she is monitoring you on clomid.

Thanks ladies. Went to the ER this morning because i couldn't stop vomiting, they did a preg. test and it was a... My gyne hasnt been following me on it. he told me i shouldnt have a problem since i have produced the follices and all i needed was a boost to ovulate. He told me to try it for 3 months and if nothing come back. He is the only doc that would help me TTC. All my other doctors told me "ohh your young, you hav plenty of time." We'll my DH is 35 and He wants plenty of time with kids and hopefully grandchildren. ya know. My gyne is quick to get in, get to the prob, get out. I had been monitoring with an ovulation prediction monitor. I had also did some research and it says that taking the clomid starting on day 2 has a higher pregnancy rate. does anyone know if this is true? Thanks for all your help!! Good luck to all!!!!

I have taken clomid on day 3 or started on day 5. I don't know if there is a difference or not.
