Yep, Shelly, dark brown hair, blue eyes, and Irish, just what we were looking for. Even better, he has the same blood type as Kim, and they share a lot of hobbies and interests and personality traits. He sounds like a really nice, down-to-earth and hardworking guy, who is incredibly proud of his job, and who loves his 7 year old son. We have baby and adult pics of the donor, and the adult pic shows him with his son...the guy makes bee-yoo-tee-ful kids (son also has dark brown hair and blue eyes)!!!! :-)

It was actually really fun looking for the donor, and we both agreed on this one really quickly...Kim had the final say, though, and she felt really strongly about the one we chose. Now we just hope that two rounds of IUI will be enough (it's all we could afford to pay for upfront), because who knows if there will be any more units after two rounds? Best-case scenario, it works after one try, leaving another "on hold" in case we decide to try for a second! You never know. It's funny, though, lately we've both been talking about twins and how neat it would be to have two kids...
The future will reveal itself in time, I suppose.
The waiting will be hard, but now I have a co-worker who's doing a countdown with me...she has 20 weeks until she gives birth, and we have 20 weeks until we can TTC!
