New to Site

I my name is Brandi and I am new to this site. My husband and I have beens together for 6 years and only married for a little over a year. We have been trying to have a baby since our honeymoon. After a year of not conceiving we decided to seek help. Luck I went in on the perfect cycle day (#25) I was able to have my progesrone test done and a vaginal ultrasound done. Everything came back fine. Five days later I had an HSG done (which was so painful my doctor wanted to stop but I said NO). It came back fine. Now I am on cycle day 7 and am on Clomid 50mg. Any advice!! Any do's or dont's!!

Just take it one day at a time. I had a hard time dealing with the emotional roller coaster ride, but being able to talk to others who are going through the same problems I have was always helpful. Best of luck to you.

Hey and to the site. I am sure you will be very comfortable here. I have been on for a couple of weeks and i love it here. The women are fabulous freinds and the info is plentiful. I am right there with you on your cd- i am on cd 10 so maybe we will be getting out really close this month and make our stay short and sweet to the infertility forum. Sending s.

Infertility Journey

We are all on this IF journey together, each at different stops, taking different roads yet not really with a map. Take each day with stride, laugh, cry, pray and hope! I seem to only be able to do clomid every other month since I develop cysts. I have terrible side effects too! that your first cycle goes well without any bumps in the road.

You found the right place where you relate to many of us who are and have gone through the road. Are you working with a regular OB or a specialist? I would consider working with a reproductive endocronologist in your area if you haven't already. He will let you know what steps to take at a time, evaluate you and find out which meds you should start out with and get your husband's semen tested as well. I hope that you find comfort here in your TTC process .... we look forward to seeing your BFP!!!

Brandi! Best of luck to you. The only advice I can give is to warn your DH about the side effects of clomid. Not everyone gets them, but I get pretty bad moodiness...very hormonal.
