curious

hi this is my first month of clomid and i took progestrone pills for 10 days. af is due today, cy day 28. does anyone know would af come later because of taking the clomid and pills.was just curious about this.thanks for any help

This may sound ricidulous. I am new to chat rooms. What does af and cy stand for?

My past experience is that af may come later due to the progesterone. This may not always be the case.

AF is "Aunt Flo" and cy is cycle. For any other abbreviations you don't know, there is an "Acronyms" link at the top of each page to a definitions page.

And I think I've read that other women's cycles have been lengthened by Clomid.. but I'm not sure about the effects of progesterone.

6/4 - Everything is still perfect. Measuring right on track, hb 161bpm
6/26 - Couldn't be better; 148bpm
7/21 - Anatomy Scan!! It's a GIRL!

I tried 3 cycles of Clomid. It made AF come super late...I have always been very regular, having 25-27 day cycels since I got AF for the very first time. That is why I quit taking Clomid. It was having the complete opposite effect than it was suppose to. Hope it works out better for you!
