Scared and Frustrated

Hello,

I'm turning to this forum for support because I have seen it to be quite helpful to many of you. It's hard to turn to friends and family when they themselves have not gone through the agony of trying to conceive.

My husband and I have been ttc for 3 years now. We've tried 3 rounds of Clomid, and I've had an ultrasound. My husband has had his first semen analysis, and is going for his second next week.

We just recently bought a home, and have tried to do everything ourselves due to the costs involved in going to a fertility specialist. But I am 32, and my husband is 36. We don't feel as if we have a lot of time.

I would like to know if you have any advice to offer me. I am all ears, and very willing. I realize that we should be getting ourselves on over to a fertility specialist. Anything else would be greatly appreciated.

Best of luck to each and every one of you...

Wishing you the very best. As you can see by my signature, you seem young by comparison. This forum is a good place to be for people who understand the frustration that comes with IF struggles. Many knowledgeable and caring women here. No words of specific advice, just welcome.

First I want to to the forum. It is a great place for support and info. I understand partial what you are going through. We TTCd for 2 years and a few months before going to a RE. Everyone comes to that decision in their own time. And cost definately plays a factor - our insurance doesn't cover any infertility treatment either. There are a few other tests that may be helpful to you that your OB can do without going to a RE - HSG, 3 day FSH, ect - that may give you some more insight (and hopefully your insurance will cover ). Good luck in whatever you decide to do and keep all of us posted - you don't need to be seeing a RE, taking meds, or having treatments to post here

Lots of
