Hello all! So glad I found a place I can vent all my fustrations out!

My name is Nicole, I have been married to my DH for 2 yrs and 6mnths, and have been TTC for a little over a year. I always had a thought in the back of my mind I would have troubles getting pregnant even tho I longed to be a mommy! And Low and behold I just got diagnosed with PCOS, we are still awaiting SA anaylis for DH, I'm calling tomorrow! He did have and undescended testicle at birth was taken care of at 3 months.

Life is getting very fustrating right now.. all of my friends or co-workers are finding themselves surrounded by babyjoy, including one of my best friends, it is very hard to be happy for her and not feel jealous at the same time! I try not to show it when i'm around her but I know she can sense it!

I'm hoping for the best with my first round of Clomid, I am not seeing a specialst at the moment, just my OBGYN and all seems to be going well ( she is doing everything it seems and RE does from what I can tell on here!)

I wish everyone luck and lots of on their journey and hope all of us get that Soon!

Glad you found this site, the girls are all really nice here and all very positive. Great place to vent your frustrustions.

I hope you get good results with your DH SA anaylis, and your first round of clomid. When do you start?
I have had 3 cycles on clomid and doc has told me to not take it this cycle and see if my body can trigger ovulation on it's own.

Keep us updated on how you go.

Hello I seen your post and just thought I would add some encouragement/hope to this situation. I have been on clomid and this is my third cycle on it. Today is my last pill of third cycle. I decided to do CD 2-6 since 5-9 wasn't doing anything but . I'm trying to stay positive through everything. I have like 8 or 9 people around me that are right now. Some are close friends of hubby others are close friends of mine. I almost have gotten to the point where it's like who's next? and will I ever get my ???? Even my neighbor across the street got pregnant It makes it real hard when so many are getting and you want a so bad. Here if you need me to vent or just talk to

So awesome to hear I'm not alone! I hopefully will start in 2 days if ever shows up! She has me taking it on days 4-8 for three rounds and then we will go from there. I told her if I ever have ovulated its like 4 days before I start and I think thats weird! So hopefully this will turn my body the right way! I'm a little hesitant tho because she said my chances of having twins just increased like 10%! But I think it would be awesome at the same time, I would be done for a while! So we will see how it turns out and I will let you all know! Thanks for listing and its great to know I can have someone to chat to if the need ever arises!

Just got the results of DH's SA! And everything came back normal! I was a little upset she didn't give me numbers so on my next app I will ask for specifics! Still waiting for to show up... she is being very stubborn the past 2 months! Usually i have 31 day cycles give or take a few days.. this month and last month its going on 40! I'm so ready to start the clomid to see if this is going to work! Argh!

I also have PCOS, my husband and i have been TTC for somewhere around 4 years, only recently have we been going to the OBGYN though, i was Dx with PCOS with insulin resistance and Hypo thyroid. My doctor put my on a vitamin treatment that he said most other doctors dont do but he has found sucess in giving this treatment to women with PCOS, if you want specifics private message me and i'll give you what i take. I'm on my 3rd cylce of clomid and also metformin (1000mgs). I did two rounds of 50 mgs cycle days 3-7. They both worked to some extent but my levels of progesterone we not as high as they wanted to see them ( 12.3-13.0 when they like to see them over 15.0) Before they put my on clomid and Metformin my progesterone levels were only 3.0 so i know something is trying to work! I just took my First Pills of my 3rd cycle on clomid (100mgs now). Just giving you some background history! I took clomid a few years back by itself without Metformin and my progesterone levels didnt budge. They took me all the way up to 200 mgs and nothing. ( i also have SEVERE mood swings that time!!) This time i seem to be having much more success adding the Met. I also havnt noticed any moogswings or anything this time around. Good luck to all of us!!
