Ladies, I have a question for you!
I went to the doc today to start our new protocol. He was very much into me doing IVF. I told him we were going to try IUI and probably not do IVF. He told me that I should do IVF and that if I did I would have a 60% of a BFP with IVF. With my IUI he only gave me a 30% chance. Considering we have "unexplained infertility" do you belive that the success rate is really 60% to 30%? What have you heard?

Those are the percentage rates I have heard as well.

We are completely thrilled, amazed and blessed!! They both look very healthy and are measuring well! YEAH!!! Twins are here....5/10/08.....32 weeks 2/7 Lleyton Philip 4lbs, 17 in Delaney Elizabeth 4lbs 3 oz, 17 in 6/18/08 Lleyton 7lbs, 1 oz, 18 3/4 in Delaney 7lbs, 1oz, 19 in  Milo (beagle with HUGE heart)

Honestly, I've never heard 30% for IUI - I've always heard closer to 10-15%, on the high side. It's a toss up - we did 3 IUIs with no success and 1 IVF with success on the first try. If you have to pay for it out of pocket, I'd say it's worth it to jump right into IVF. I've heard a lot of women say they wish they did that also. Good luck!
