Egg quality is most often associated with age. I'm not sure how old you are, but it may be due to some other cause if you're not over 35. Acupunture/herbs can help improve egg quality as you age, although it's expensive in addition to any IF treatments. There is always hope, so never lose sight of that. Just make sure you ask all your questions when you see your RE. Are you already seeing a specialist or did your OB do the testing?

Sorry, OB is for ob/gyn doctor. You may want to check out the following websites which have good information:

Understanding Your Diagnosis | The Fertile Soul

Infertility egg quality, pregnancy egg quality - Fertility Guide

Hope that helps.

In the past a common belief was that the only factor which determine ovarian health was age. Based on the discovery of many new studies, we know that this is not true.

You can impact the health of your eggs. During the cycle of an eggs life there is a window of opportunity, a period of time when certain factors can affect the health of your eggs that are preparing for ovulation.

During the 90 day period before an egg is ovulated, the eggs are effected by:
Blood Flow
Proper oxygenation
Hormonal Balance
Nutritional intake
Stress

You can increase the health of your eggs through diet changes, herbs, hormonal balance, supplements and reducing stress.

Learning about natural therapies to increase your egg quality may be helpful in your situation. Working toward increasing egg health is also important if you are considering IVF.

If you would like to learn what steps you can take to increase your egg health go to this link: Increase Your Egg Health In 90 Days

Best Wishes,

Dalene
