It took us three years to have our 2.5 year old daughter. We've been trying over a year this time. My fertility situation potentially has worsened, so we are going to try and retrace our steps and find the secret recipe again.

I wanted to drop in and say Hi. We are TTC #2. Never had any fertility issues until now?? First child was conceived effortlessly and naturally 5 weeks after we got married =)

Now that we are actively trying this time around -- eggies and spermies are being VERY stubborn!!!

Hi everyone!

Wow, I am really glad I found this forum! I love it! Dh and I are ttc baby #2... Goodness! it is taking longer than we thought. Our dd is 13 months (took 1 cycle to concieve her!!) and we have been ttc for 6 months with a m/c in between back in Dec. Have not had any tests done to determine whether or not there may be a problem with infertility etc. We will give it a bit longer. I am hoping we are just not timing the bd right..and missing the egg! Well, looking forward to the support and the cyber-friendships this forum has to offer!!

Someone said something about people asking about baby # 2, and I know what they're talking about. People are trying to be nice but sometimes I just want to scream, "#2 will be here just as soon as God and my uterus lets him!!! Would you like to give my body a pep talk?" also, the people who try to help by saying, "it took me a long time to have my second also, it'll happen...."and you feel encouraged, until you realize that their kids are 18 months apart and you've been trying for 4 years already. Even worse are the people who who hear that you are trying and giggle and say, "oh that's too bad, I get pregnant if my husband even looks at me!" As they are followed around by 5 children under the age of six. Sorry about the venting, but it's spring time, I work retail and there are SO MANY pregnant women wandering the aisles, ready to pop and trailed by broods of children, with another toddler in the cart and a baby still in an infant seat in the top. I just want to scream, "you're taking all the mojo!!!! Please for the sake of the rest of us trying to concieve, take a year off!!!!!"

HI, I also have the same problem. Our ds is 3. A family member once assumed that we were not going to have any more because ds is 3! when I explained that we did want more she looked shocked and then looked at me like what have you been doing, you better hurry up! Although we havent been trying as long as most on this forum dh has vericocele and will have sa in couple weeks. I don't feel like exp. this to every one just yet.

Hello all! I also have been ttc #2 for almost 4 years. We had tried for #1 for 1 year and concieved...but this time is not so easy. (sad that a year is considered easy now... ). We have 2 appts. this month...so we will see...The downs of this is what gets to me! I am glad I found you guys for support and friendship! Ppl that actually understand what you are going thru. Although we all might have different situations, we are all in this for one reason....a baby! A gorgeous healthy lil one to bring home! Baby dust to all of you and good luck with this months cycles!!

I expected problems since we had trouble with our first. I am excited though...I will be starting Letrozole with my next cycle. It worked before, lets hope it does again!

Hi I'm new here too and we've been ttc #2 for 17 months now. It took us a year to conceive DS and we did it naturally.
This time, I have been on Clomid, but so far have stopped it and we are trying "naturally" again. I have been takin some herbs to try to regulate my cycle though.

We have been ttc for #2 for over a year and half. I started clomid last month and just finished up my 5 day today. So we are praying for and . I really dont want to do the clomid to long I have lots of side effects. I saw my doc once we are suppose to be doing phone consults and she went on leave for a while and wont be back till Nov.

I see where alot of the ladies have put all the u/s and how often they get checked even when they are on just clomid. I called to find out if I needed a u/s I spoke with the nurse she said she never herd of anyone needing a u/s every month for clomid.

We are in Japan and we are only allowed to see the mil docs so I guess I will get what I can get when it is free.

We conceived #1 and #2 both on the 1st try and both mc were conceived on the 1st try. I guess you never know what is going to happen. I turned 30 in July this year. I swear my internal clock got louder that day. Best of luck to you.
