This is my first visit here. I could really use some support from those who are going through similar situations. I am 30 years old and have been trying to conceive for a little over six years. After being unsuccessful for three years, my husband and I had decided to adopt. It felt like it was so easy, because after three months of starting the process, we brought our son home. The feelings of needing to be pregnant went away for a while and just before my sons first birthday, I found out I was pregnant. Three days later I miscarried. Then the feelings of wanting to be pregnant came back and they won't go away. I tried fertility treatment again, and it was unsuccessful. I decided to go back on birth control to regulate my cycles and am on my third month. I started feeling pregnancy symptoms and went back to the doctor. He thinks it is just the pills giving me the symptoms, which he probably is right. I stopped taking the pill for two days, and my symptoms have subsided. I feel so down right now. I am still waiting for the blood test to come back, but I know that it will be negative. I feel so alone right now.

I have not seen my RE in a year. I can only budget so much money a year to infertility treatment. We are planning on adopting another child when we sell our home and get some cash from that, but the house is not even up for sale yet. It feels like child number 2 is far far away.
