Hi everyone, I am new to this forum. I want to find others that have had success conceiving while using Metformin. I am also trying to find other ways that can help me conceive.

Hi there, I am also on Metformin 1000mg daily. I am also using Provera to bring on bleed and then Clomid 50 mg. I just did my first cycle and I am getting ready for my next one. Did not O on the first cycle but did get results from Clomid so they are keeping my dose the same. I also have PCOS, but not insulin resistant. My dr. put me on the the Metformin though becauses it helps with the clomid and women with PCOS. This is why my dose is only 1000mg per day. I also have been irregular since I was 15. Periods 2-4 per year on my own.

Hi! Welcome. I have been on Metformin since July of 07. And just got my (third) BFP on a IUI cycle in February.

I am on 2000 mg of metformin for the past few years. I am still waiting on my . I really want to have it work.
But I have lost 48 pounds.

I am new to the forum!! I am on 1500mg Metformin per day!

I have conceived once but mc in Jan!! Been on Metformin for the 5 years!

I am also insulin resistant! Am hoping my new FS will increase my dosage!!

As a matter of interest which side ovary & tube did you lose?

I am going onto a purely organic diet (been partial for the last couple of weeks) as from Monday, hoping this will also help!

I'm also on Metformin 1000mg a day also have POS but since starting the metformin my cycles have been regulated and I am trying IVF in June already had 2 failed IUI.

I have been using metformin 1000mg since february 2008 and I have taken it last year with clomid. But I stop taking both of them I was having to many hot flashes that was effecting me really bad. Now my dr has me on it to control my levels. This time it has cause me alot of pain in my ovaries for aboout two months but now not is bad. I guest Im getting use to it. Has any have heavy cramping on metformin an crazy mood swings.
Me 38(Pcos)anovulate with period monthly 7days
dh 44 (low sperm good swimmers)
ttc 3year off and on

Hi, haven't been on the forum for a while, had to concentrate all our energy on Dh's illness but we are planning to get back on track soon.
I take 1500 mg Metformin daily, I have PCOS too. Have had two previous miscarriages but was not on the Metformin back then. I have also lost a lot of weight since I started taking them.
