Did you tell your other kids about trying to conceive? My friend is trying to get pregnant and her daughter is really curious about her taking the shots and temping and what not- and I was just wondering how every one handled this.

my hubby and i aren't starting until november, and we have already told my older kids (ages 8 and 6 1/2) and they are thrilled. my son, who was terrible asthma, reminds me to take my pre-natals when he takes his medicine each night. they can't wait for us to start our shots and to find out if were going to have a baby.i think it depends on how old the kids are and how well mom and dad thnk they well react. I wouldn't tell my kids anything -- my boys are almost four and even if they were older, I wouldn't. Unless they were 12 or something. I think it would be too upsetting for young children to see their mom do IF treatments.
