Hi Karen,
I had a son 5 years ago through IVF/ICSI after several years of fertility treatments, and now I am at it again, but I'm using a donor now and like you we no longer have insurance to cover any treatments. It's very expensive and we are going into debt to try this, but it's a lot less stressful not having to do stim meds and you do have the option of just putting in one embryo at a time, if you're really concerned about multiples and freezing the rest for later use. Good luck! |

Hi Karen... we too are beginning this route. I know you replied to my earlier post and know the story. I have an appt. with my Dr. on Monday and we are going to discuss what to do next. I think we may just try going back and Clomid again and ttc naturally. My husband did have a variocele repair in January '05, so we are hoping that with the increased sperm count that we can do this without all the invasive treatments this time around. I truly feel blessed with our daughter, but I feel I'm just not ready on giving up our dream for a bigger family. Good luck to all!
