Question I have a question about clomid
I was just wondering if there are any side affects to clomid? The reason why I'm asking is today is the 19th day of my cycle, and yesterday I noticed that my nipples were really sore. They are also sore today. Thank You so much, Paige...........

I am not sure if sore nipples is a side effect from clomid but if you have already ovulated then it could be from the increased level of progesterone. Progesterone always made me have sore breasts and nipples and when I asked my RE about it, they told me exactly that. I hope this helps. Good luck!

Thank You for the advice. I don't know for sure if I even ovulated this month. I took the clomid 2-6 and i was using the clearblue easy digital ovulation tests and when I ran out I was discouraged because i hadn't seen a positve yet so I didn't test anymore, but we still done something every other day just incase. I had sore nipples with clomid, but...the sorest times were when I was PG!! (and it did start about 4 or 5 days after ovulation for me). One friend I know had sore nipples twice with clomid, once she wasn't pg and the second time she was. So no help there. And yes, progesterone can do it too....
It's always impossible to tell with symptoms on meds though. I always tried to figure it out and I was often wrong. But I hope this is good news for you!

In the last year have had two unexplained MCs (8 weeks, 5 weeks), plus
one trisomy 13 pregnancy ended at 12 weeks (8/06)

Tried two cycles of IVF with preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD) in January and February 2007 to avoid another chromosomal abnormality, but didn't get pregnant.
Back to IUI...
May IUI...BFP!
Last ultrasound (8 weeks) shows twins!

I had sore nipples toward the end of my cycle, about three or four days before AF.

HSG-10/05 normal.
LAP-10/05 endo (Stage III or IV), fibroids & polyps in uterus, and a cyst on left ovary-all removed.
Pacemaker-08/06
LAP/Hysteroscopy-03/08 endo removed, tubes flushed, D & C. No fibroids, polyps, or cysts!
  • 4 clomid cycles (2 w/ IUI)
  • 4 injectible cycles (Femara 5mg & Follistim 75IU 2 times, 100IU 2 times, all w/ IUI)
Currently-
Not thinking, talking, or doing anything related to babies. Dh wants a baby-break.

09/08 Started taking Bee Pollen, Royal Jelly, and Propolis-just for fun.

I can tell you that clomid doesnt cause sore nipples, but if I were you I go take a pregnancy test. Cuz one of my symptoms was tender boobs, erect nipples (a tad sore) and being really really tired all the time. that you are

I was just wondering how this turned out did she get her I'm in the same boat right now This was my first cycle of clomid 50mg cycle days 3-7 and Today is cycle day 20 and my nips are super sore and have been for 3 days
