Me - 41, High FSH (15.3) DH - 36, Totally fine! Married - 2 1/2 years TTC - 5 months First IUI, April 2009 - negative First IVF cycle, May 2009 (Having IVF in Japan, where my husband is from; I'm American) ER: May 26 (4 follicles, all 4 fertilized successfully) ET: May 28 (1 embryo transfered, 2 frozen, 1 not dividing well) Beta test: June 9 - positive! Beta 123 1st Ultrasound: June 16 - embryo at 4.7mm 2nd Ultrasound: June 23 - saw the heartbeat! 3rd Ultrasound: July 7 - embryo at 13mm 4th Ultrasound: July 14 - little embryo's heart no longer beating D&C scheduled for July 18 Will try again naturally in Sept, then on to 2nd IVF cycle (with stimms again) in October, 2009

Hi guys,
I had my second U/S today and it went well.. DR. said my follicles are responding well and growing! My lining is thickening and I'll find out my E2 later today..good news because I totally messed up my meds and took 20 units of lupron instead of 5 yesterday am. I was so upset with myself but the MD said it was not a big deal.. Vicki, my cyst is still there and tiny bit bigger than sunday. It makes me nervous but I think I will just always have them..I also have another small endometrioma on my left ovary. I am wondering how they can do the IVF with the large cyst... Tracey, hang in there..your u/s will be here soon! I forget.. who else besides me has an ER coming up next week..I am getting excited!!!!!! talk soon, margie

Gang -- HI BACK !! u r sweet =) I loved reading your post about finding a new RE! Wonderful. I think its great that its actually closer to your home too. Thats helpful during all those u/s & blood draws.
VICKI -- Sorry you are in pain. both kinds,, emotional & physical. Don't worry, this cyst will pass and you will be on your way in no time! hang in there k.. TAMAR -- Denver bound girl! sweet. and 16 antral follicles!!! WOW !! That is the most amazing count ever for ladies our age. WONDERFUL! Its a numbers game we play, the more we get, the better chance to find the good ones... TRACY - cute pic! love it!!! MAK -- GROW FOLLIES GROW !!! im so glad you are responding good.. yay!!! Nothing new to report by me. Just patiently waiting for  So i can get going on my bcp already.. August seems like it will never get here.

Can I join?
Good afternoon girls!
I found this thread and am due with twins in December 2009 and wanted to see if you had room for another person to join. I work part-time in Japan (and thought I saw someone here who is in Japan). We also go married in April 2007 and because I broke my shoulder in an accident, had to postpone trying until last year. Take care!

I'm on day 3 of stims and mine is 288. is that good or bad?? OK here's our calendar: Waiting to start: Sticktome 44 .... Hey Margie,
At the beginning the e2 level can be all ovr the place, so don't worry about it .. but towards the end of your stims they like to see 200 count for each follicle they can see on the scan... but keep in mind, they also tend to get a few more at the retrieval... So all you have to do is look after yourself and keep jabbing that needle !

Mak, you are just a couple days ahead of me. we are scheduled for our first follie check on Sunday. I also have 2 small cysts and wonder what will happen with them during the cycle. Does anyone have any expereince with this?
Fox,  wow! you are an inspiration. Is this your first IVF? we are all dying to know details Styltryn, Okay, speaking of computer illiterate (me) How do you cut and paste on this **** thing. taka, good luck on sunday. do you know if the cysts are endometriomas or fluid filled? If its an endometrioma they see if its estrogen producing..In my case it wasn't, so they are going ahead with it.(and mine is 3.5 cm) I am concerned but just trusting that they know what they're doing..
I think they can aspirate them if they are fluid filled. My RE told me not to worry and lots of people have success with IVF even if there's a cyst..Let me know what happens sunday.. I will that the cysts are tiny or gone..hi to everyone else in the group ..and.happy friday..wish I could have a martini tonight!!!

when do you leave for denver? BTWI'm on 300 units gonal-f and 150 menapur right now.. feeling much better now that I only have to have to take 5 units of lupron in the am.. how are you??

Hi there
Hello im totally new to this, not quite sure what all of the litle codes are yet.
Im 40, had a missed miscarriage 15 months ago and since thewn have been unable to concieve. I havent had any medical intevention as my partner has a phobia about hospitals and wont go for tests etc. Im becoming so despondant as everything I have read is stacked up against the fact that im 40. Not sure what im looking for other than someone else who understands.
