I am trusting God that this will turn out well. I am very positive. However, logic tells me to be conservative about when to tell people. The only people that know right now are my friends here on the forum, and my close friends here that have been walking the road with me.

Cherry: I am sorry that you are feeling ill. I am truely hopeful for you. I know how I felt after my first failed IVF...what a horrible feeling. I am glad that you are able to get started once again. The big thing that I did during this cycle...is to totally trust that it is God that is ultimatly in control. I know it sounds funny...but the first time, I think I relied on what the doc and nurses were telling me. I spent little time in prayer. This cycle I spent almost all my time in prayer, praying for every step in this cycle. I put all my worries on Him.

Mom and Summertime: Congrats! You are on your way! that everything goes well as you continue on!

StylTryn: I really hope that this happens soon for you. Keep a positive attitude. It's not easy to do...but try. And treat yourself! You deserve it.

Hello to Mak, Taka, Margie, Inna, 1day, Lori62, MrsM...and to those I missed a big Hi to you too!

Hope everyone had a great Halloween, and Happy November to all!

Rose

Rose, what an awesome 2nd beta!!!

Can't wait to hear about your ultrasound! Heart Beat here we come! So excited! 3 for you and your DH!!!

Love,
Hanan

AFM - We had our professional pregnancy photos last Friday in Austin. The photographer was really brilliant. We took pix with gauze, tulle, my 400 yo kimono my team gave me and couple black and whites. Put the cribs together and new bedding on the queen bed in the boy's room. Found a table for the nursery room, etc. Shower is this Saturday, 11/7. So hard to believe. I bought one of those glass lamps with the swivel top on it from Pottery Barn. They are designed to put different things into them as the kids grow up through college. I put pinecones in there with a note that says "Know that I wanted both of you with every breath in my being.... Mom". I started crying when I wrote it as I can't believe we are almost here.

If I can do this in mid 40s, you girls can. I pray for each of you every single day and placed your names at the Fertility Shrine in Tokyo for the priests to pray over as well.

Have a great week and let me know if I put this list together correctly. Cleaned up a few things based on the DE chart Godiva keeps on my other thread. Hanan, thanks for starting this.

Love to everyone this week. Got to run!!

Happy Halloween

Hi Ladies,

I hope everyone had a good Halloween. I wanted to share a pix of my resident pirate on Halloween and encourage anyone else to post who has pictures from last Saturday.

Nothing new to report this week, I'm just waiting for my first blood test on Friday.

Hi All, just letting you know I've lurked a bit, but too busy to post much other than I'm amazed at all the pg. ladies over 40 and very happy for all of you!!! Hope to be part of the pg. group soon!

For everyone still trying, like me, don't give up! I've noticed it takes some of us a little longer, but I think we can all have success if we don't give up!

Heart 40 and happy to have found you - beat the odds!

Thanks everyone for all the updates! It's so amazing to see how many of us here have achieved pregnancy! It's definitely beyond the odds! 50% or so more pregnancy rate!! It just shows you what a group of amazing ladies we have here. There's an Oprah story in here for sure!

I do believe it is the will to keep going on and not give up.

I myself, have felt it hard the past two cycles and now as I enter my FET cycle. The wind has literally been knocked out of me for some reason. I've had a lot going on personally (trying to sell house, moving etc., and now a longer commute to work), so I blame some of that for my mood. Plus this 60 mile commute means I have to get up at 5.30am (yuck). And of course, the fact that the long Winter evenings are here. I'm a much better Summer person! (as we all are). I'm still feeling kind of ill on the injections (down reg). I can't understand why I have to do this when i have really regular cycles- but then Irish clinics - they aren't that far ahead in the ART stakes. Sorry to be ranting a little here. I need it!

I have my baseline scan on Friday - and my AF is due then. Today I'm off to Acupuncture. The therapist is pretty good, so I'm hoping she can take some of the edge off my injection side effects as I still feel so achey and nauseous.

Loving reading that list - in fact I think I'll keep it by my bedside to keep me focused and positive!! (if 10 ladies or more here can do it so can I).

Have a great day everyone!
Cherrygo.

JDW - Love your little pirate! How adorable...

Cherry - You have such a positive attitude! What a great way to look at things with all the success stories here, it does give us more hope! I am sorry you aren't feeling well, but just try to push through and hopefully you will have your BFP before you know it...

AFM - Nothing new, still no AF. It's now day 33 after my miscarriage, so I am hoping it is getting close so we can keep trying. I am still spotting a bit. I read somewhere you have to have 20 days of NO bleeding before you get AF? Is that true?

Warning!!!!!!!!

Hey everyone!!!!

I am really swamped today, but will KUP tomorrow. The post above mine from Jess doesn't look normal to me (sorry Jess), so please DO NOT click on it.

It could be the IT person in me, but I am not clicking on it myself.

Hope everyone has had a great week.... Hanan, such a great job on the list.

xoxo
