I heard back from the nurse and she think we will be well done with my transfer before I have to go on the business trip in December that I just found out about. In fact depending on how the donor responds, the ET could be as early as the 7th or 8th of December. She originally thought it would be closer to the 10th. It really put my mind at ease knowing that my IVF schedule won't conflict with this trip and I'll be busy on my trip so I won't have time to stress out as much about my 2ww. Here's hoping that the timing works out that way!

Asiram – Best of luck to you this time around!

Rose – My heart sank to read your post. I’ll be praying for your bean. Mak is right miracles do happen. Keep your chin up this weekend and we’ll all be thinking of you on Monday.

Hanan – What a relief!

Jdw – that’s great news – the last thing you want to worry about is scheduling conflicts. I also talked to our nurse and she reckons we are looking at January. I won’t know for sure just yet though. It also kind of depends on the donors holiday plans….
KUP about how your donor is responding to stims. What was her antral count?

Taka – whoa! You are starting up!! That’s super I can’t wait to hear your updates!!!

Cherry – I spoke to a nice guy in Ireland yesterday. Very upbeat and positive attitude and I thought of you. Maybe it’s an Irish thing! I can’t wait to play my fave Christmas song – Fairytale of New York…

AFM - I am loving pilates. Looking forward to giving my doggies showers this weekend then enjoy a nap with them on sunday afternoon!

Tamar,

That is exciting that you are starting stims so soon. It sounds like our ER/ET will be close to each other and that we'll probably be in 2ww around the same time - we can be cycle buddies! I'm on estrace too, but won't start PIO until the donor triggers. Thanksgiving is my last day of lupron and the donor will start stims sometime next week. Her next app is the 23rd and I go in on the 25th. We are both on our way!

1day, my donor hasn't started stims yet, but will next week. I'm hoping that because she is young and healthy, she'll respond great - but we'll just have to wait and see.

Pilates sounds great. You are smart to get in shape before getting pg. I still haven't dropped all of the weight from my last cycle and now the holidays are here with all of that tempting food. If I get pg, I think I'll probably be as big as a house in 9 mos. Have fun with your dogs this weekend. Do they prefer taking showers to baths, or is it just easier to wash them that way?

Disappointing News

With sadden heart, my DH and I will not be able to proceed with this IVF cycle. On Nov. 19 my FHS was 16 and a repeat FHS on Nov. 21 my # 17.2. It is odd how for the past 2 years my FSH had been between 7 and 8, and 25 days ago is was 8.3.

This was our last chance to do this especially with health insurance that would pay for it. I guess I am not sure what else to say, except thank you to all of you! DE or Adoption is out since my DH is not keen about it. I just feel lost but not completely defeated.

It is sad that I do not even want to take my maintence medication, multi vit or anything.

I am sorry that I had to share this with all of you! But I do hope you know I am so thinking and praying for all of you! Please keep your dreams alive, (someone does)... As mine will not ever come true. But life has to go on.

Thank you for being my friend and supporter! Much love to each of you!

Hanan
