The embryologist goes to great pains to avoid telling us grades.

Hi Gals,

I'm a little dissapointed. We went in for an antal follie count and while we had 13, one was very 31mm which meant we had a cyst. The re wants us to wait another three weeks to make sure that it is gone before we move forward with another ivf cycle. While I understand, it is frustruating...

Taka - Wow, I am glad I can give back! As you can see, it took me a long time to get up the nerve to post here - and I am so pleased I did. Heh, I must be settling in... my signature keeps getting longer.

It is good your RE wants your "house to be in order" before starting another cycle. You just never know what might be hiding out behind a cyst. (Just ask my fallopian tube. Oh, wait, can't do that because it is gone.)

Taka, I was troubled by cysts also. One time he drained it before starting my cycle, and two other times I had to trigger and wait for the cyst to go away on it's own. It was extremely frustrating, but trust that it's for the best of your cycle.

I'm still on hold for anything right now. I know what I want to do, but we need to get "our house" in order, financially, and I'm getting some physical and mental rest from my 3 cycles. I'm trying to be postive andkeep looking forward to the day I can start again.

I was away for a bit, I went to go be with my sis, she had a partial hysterectomy, so I spent time with her. She has been blessed with 4 kids, (one of which could be my donor) so she is fine with it all.

wow, it's been like FOREVER since I have posted. I had to take a break for awhile.
Congrats to all those who are pregnant now, and hugs to those who still are not.
We are still not, but we have only been all natural...
I am waiting to see if my re gets a new trial that will be with DE. She said I should qualify... if the trial actually comes up, i will let you all know. It could be up to a year she said. She has to finish the current one.
In the meantime, we are looking into embryo adoption. I am watching the list and waiting to see if any come along we are interested in. So which ever comes up first... it is all in Gods hands. Bummer though, i will have to change RE's for an FET with adopted embies, she wont do it. But whatever..I guess you do what you have to do.

I will updates as we go along. I have thought of you ladies often.

Tamar - it always seems to be something. My first cycle was stalled by cysts too. Good luck to you.

As for me. We've finished our classes for the adoption and we are now getting the house in order for the home study. We should be hearing something from the caseworker soon to set up the date and time for that. In the meantime, I'm working on our picture portfolio.

Waiting, waiting, waiting...

Arpee, I will be joining you soon. My follicles were a little late in blooming, but when I went in today, 2 were over 18mm, 1 was a little over 16mm, and there were 2 at a little over 14. Where those last 2 came from I don't know because the last two u/s we could only see 3! I trigger tonight after 6, and I have my iuis set for tomorrow and Friday. I'm planning to keep myself occupied during the first week by grading essays and journals (my seniors are turning in some of their summer work). And during the second week, I'll be at a conference. So relieved I'll be busy, busy, busy because otherwise I might've gone mad!

Taka, I'm so sorry to hear about the cyst. It's so hard to be patient when we want so much to be pregnant! I'm sending you good California vibes to shrink that cyst!

J-Lyn, I hope your sister is recovering well. I'm glad to see that things are going well for your next steps. I think it helps to have a plan, to have some sense of where you're going from here. That should give you a little peace of mind, and that little bit can go a long way. By the way, I lost 1-1/2 lbs. Woohoo!

Marilynn, how is your 2ww going? I know we're all anxious to get the good news .

Hi Laura it's good to see you back. I am interested to know how the adoption process goes for you. It's something I have thought about, but not ready to go there yet if you know what I mean. Thanks everyone for the hugs regarding the cyst. Now I am stressing a little that more will appear even though I am on bcp...

Hi Tamar, I got my time lines now and I will only be on BCPs for only 2 weeks until 4th of August. I was relieved.
You had a great follies count 13! I had only 5 or 6 last Tuesday. My FSH came back as 12.5, but my RE said that I had reacted well with the clomid and that is an encouraging sign.

Onemiracle, such great numbers again! Congratulations! We are waiting for news today.

Just back from the ultrasound appointment:

One bean
Measures at 6 weeks 2 days
RE says this is consistent with my hcg levels
Next US appointment in one week.

RE gave me the impression this is not good news.

Not really the best appointment, but at least I am pregnant in the right place this time. (Rather than in my tubes or something...)

Congrats on the u/s! It sounds like things are O.K. I thought they wanted the HB >100. Maybe it's a late implanter and that's why it's small for dates!! Try to do something fun this week to keep your mind busy!
