I think you should consider doing it. the very first time I met with my acupuncturist, he said he'll make my ovaries and uterus at least 10 years younger again

he had patients in their 40s also with failed IVF cycles and now they are pregnant. I believe him because I read their hand written testimonials. I can't wait to be writing my own testimonial too.

i ladies, i also posted this on another thread.

I'm back from my ER and happy to report that we got 12 eggies

this has been my best cycle ever. Surprisingly, i feel ok after the ER, not even sleepy or tired at all. Adrenalin rush maybe?

for great news with my Fert Report tomorrow. Thank you for all your support and prayers.

Faith - That's great - both that they retreived 12 eggs and that you're doing well! Sounds like your acupuncture really helped. That's fantastic. Can't wait to hear the fertilization report! B

Out of the 12, 6 fertilized naturally - 3 are normal while other 3 didnt fertilize normally and we'll know by Thursday if they made it or not. I asked the nurse if they could still do ICSI on the other 6. still waiting for feedback from my RE on that.

I am thankful that we have at least 3 to transfer on Thursday. But still cant help not to be a little disappointed sicne were hoping we'll have some embies to freeze.

But DH and I are just putting our trust in God right now. Our prayer last night was for God to choose the best baby/babies for us. I guess this is His answer. He has chosen the best 3 for us. And for that we are so very thankful.

Thank you ladies for all the support and prayers. As for the other 6, we totally lost them, RE said it's not a good idea to do ICSI on them though they have tried it before, they said it will do more harm than good.

anyway, we're doing the ET on Thursday @ 11:20 PST. DH and I are just thankful that we will make it to ET. I can't wait. I have faith that our other 3 not so good looking ones will make it. at least one of them will

for your embies and peace for you. Everyone always says it but it only takes one. This is true and how wonderful that it would be THE ONE choosen just for you and DH! Hang in there and keep the faith.

Hi Ladies,
I would love to join your group along with my other group, Single Moms by Choice. Pretty much everyone on that thread are younger then me and I wanted to be in touch with a group of women my age who are also ttc.

So, I do hope you are accepting singles.

In a nutshell, I at 43 it's my first time ttc and I am going full force with medicated IUI. I am in great health and can only say that I am part of the POAS gang. My ovulation is great, but it's always been 35 - 45 days apart.

My RE checked my ovaries on my first visit as I was a couple of days from ov and he was very pleased with what he saw. Tons of follicles! I was so happy to hear that. He said he wants to go full force due to my age. I have great insurance and said, "let's do it".

So, as of now I am totally PMSing just waiting for that last AF so I can start taking those pills and sticking myself with those needles. I have an HSG set on day 3 of my period.

Wow! Looks like you and Demi are some lucky gals. lol

Actually, I'm glad that my RE is so proactive. After reading so many stories about those having 3 or more IUI's with no success, I say why not do meds right off the bat.

I never thought I would look so forward to shooting needles into myself.

I'll keep you posted.
