Heart

Mindi,

Welcome and it's a lot easier to poke yourself than I thought - that's when I knew I'd do anything to be a mom!

Single? hey girl - more power to ya! Who cares IMHO, we all just wanna be moms - doesn't matter how we get there, or with whom (or is that with whose?)

Welcome welcome!

Take your injectibles out of the fridge a bit before you inject - the colder - the more it stings.

Love and hopes and hugs,
Julie

Mindi- I have ovary envy!! Mine are shot so we are using DE. I am excited about this though because all I want as an end result is a healthy baby in my arms!
I am excited to see your progress and your BFP announcement soon.

Faith, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your 3 little embryos. I know the disappointment of losing embryos in the process. I almost wish I did not know how many I lost because it really added to my stress the day of the transfer but it all worked out! I think you ET will be a good one too!

Mindi! That's very exciting that your RE was so encouraged by the number of follicles you have. A friend of mine just recently got pregnant at 44 on her first try at injectibles. So some of us just have the eggs. Others of us may not. But we have in common that we're all striving to be moms.

And, of course singles are welcome! One of the things I love about this board is how many different family configurations we have - moms in traditional couples, single moms, step-moms trying for genetic kids as well, lesbian moms - all kinds!

Julie - BTW, I loved your comment "doesn't matter how we get there, with whom - or with whose!" That made my day!

Thank you for the kind welcome all you Mommy2be's!

bd711 - Your 44 yr. old friend is now my hero. I tell myself everyday that age is only a number and that I have healthy follicles that produce healthy eggs.

Kay - I agree that having a baby of your own to hold in your arms will be an amazing felling, no matter how you get that baby.

Julie - Thank you for the info on removing the injectible med from the fridge to warm up before injection. That's the kind of information I would never have gotten if it weren't for the wonderful ladies on this site.

I can't wait to put up my BFP along side my name!

I was thinking the same thing too. I'm looking forward to being able to put a BFP beside me name.

And then I realized I'm looking even more forward to being able to put a baby's name beside mine.

For now, at least, you can say "Michelle Duggar... eat your heart out!"

(I suffer from Michelle Duggar envy)

Do you realize that --potentially -- your babies are beginning to form right now? In a little dish, somewhere, your children are beginning.

Leaves you sort of awestruck, doesn't it?

This is more miraculous than Christmas!

I am awed! I just keep sending up little prayers for them.
OK, I am showing my ignorance... who is Michelle Duggar? I don't watch TV or see many movies, so if it is a Hollywood person, I am clueless. I'm sure people are reading this saying where does she live... under a rock?
