I live in the Washington DC area, and I pay $95 per session for my acupuncturist. It is worth every penny to me, and luckily my insurance covers about 80% of it. I pay the remaining 20%. So I guess it depends on where you live and the coverage you have, if any.

 me: 33 (mild endometriosis, hormonal imbalance) DH: 42 (okay) Married 4 years TTC since April 2005 #1 IUI: 3/12/07 - FAILED  #2 IUI: 4/11/07 - FAILED #1 IVF ER - 4/3/08: 51 eggs retrieved, 44 fertilized ET - 4/8/08: transferred 1 blast; froze 6 blasts 4/23/08 -   Developed Severe OHSS and clinical dehydration - hospitalized for 4 days; recovery period took 3 months 9/2/08 - my little boy is doing just fine. He is happy and healthy! 9/29/08 - doc orders bedrest for rest of the pregnancy due to severe anemia 11/12/08 - my little man is developing quickly, and due date was pushed up a week! 12/19/08 - Hubby and I finally get to meet him!! I am going to have my first session this week. I was told that the first session is $100 then the subsequent sessions will be $75. My accupuncurist is specialized in infertility (and she's in Manhattan - NYC).

Me -38(unexplained), DH-40(normal), TTC- 4+ years Feb 08 - IUI #1 (Clomid & Ovidrel) Mar 08- IUI - cancelled due to a cyst Apr 08 - IUI #2 (Gonal-F, Ovidrel and Progesterone) May- June 08- IVF#1 Lupron, Gonal-F, Menopur cycle. 14 eggs retrieved, 10 fertilized. 3days transfer * 3 embrios, 10dp3dt AF showed Aug 08- IVF#2 - Cancelled Gonal-F, Menopur,Garlinex cycle. 10 eggs retrieved, x fertilized. None is good enough to transfer Oct-Nov 08 - IVF#3  Lupron, Gonal-F, Menopur Cycle. 17 eggs retrieved, 10 fertilized. 3day ET planned on 11/26 - cancelled -> no egg is good enough for transfer 12/1 ->OMG! cannot believe it, one egg made to Blastocyst! 6 days transfer 12/11 -> Beta
