I had my first acu treatment yest. and it was great but I had an awful headache afterwards....Anyone feel any "different" afterwards...like uterine cramping or anything like that?

I always felt very relaxed after my acu appts even after the ones he said were suppposed to increase my energy levels.

I've only had 2 acupuncture sessions so far, but I was exhausted after them, physically and emotionally drained. My acupuncturist reassured me that was normal. I would ask your acupuncturist if it's normal to get headaches too.

Karen, I felt emotional after my acupuncture treatments - in a good way. I never had headaches, but I am not surprised, I woudl mention it to your practitioner.

I did not feel anything negative at all for my first two sessions. I felt really balanced each time I left, and the feeling really has stayed with me. I'm also doing the herbs so maybe there really is a correlation?
Don't give up and let them know next time you go back what happened.

Hey Rebecca! Congrats again on the BFP!!!! What great BETA's!
Yes, we're au naturale and on herbs with acupuncture for the next 3 cycles. So far, I've enjoyed it and think we've got a really good chance with a BFP on this plan. I've also had a phone consultation with another RE who thinks that the IVF will definately work for us. I'm hoping we get the BFP without have to go through IVF, but I do feel so much better after talking with him.
Hope all is well with you and that you keep celebrating your awesome news! What was your energy work you did with your IUI? What exactly did they do?

yes I have a mild headache...nothing big but it bugs me ...because Iam hoping to feel like a million bucks when I done...my next apt is on Monday. hoping not to have a headache after.
