Symptoms afterwards
I had my first acu treatment yest. and it was great but I had an awful headache afterwards....Anyone feel any "different" afterwards...like uterine cramping or anything like that?

Surgery removed 75% of the scar tissue and inserted a balloon stent 6/9 Removal of stent Waiting for to show to ensure we have lining never showed...RE appt. 7/147/18 2nd Hystereoscopy  to remove scars7/31 Removal of balloon again 8/11 Office dilation and removal of band of scar tissue...back in a week 8/18 Scar tissue back balloon stent placed8/28 Balloon removed, on Provera for 7 days waiting for withdrawal bleed

I always felt very relaxed after my acu appts even after the ones he said were suppposed to increase my energy levels.

May 20 u/s ONE little heartbeat flickering away  Csection scheduled for Dec 31st - New Year's Eve Baby!!! started P17 shots @ 16 weeks We're having a "surprise"

I've only had 2 acupuncture sessions so far, but I was exhausted after them, physically and emotionally drained. My acupuncturist reassured me that was normal. I would ask your acupuncturist if it's normal to get headaches too.

Me: 29, PCOS DP: 35, perfect, except no sperm Aug-Sept 2007 - Full work-up with our RE Oct 2007-March 2008 - 3 cycles of IUI with clomid - all  April 2008 - Break. Started acupuncture and seeing a naturopath May 2008 - IUI#4 with Puregon 75 IU - also July 2008 - IVF#1 (Gonal-F and Repronex) - 22 eggs, 20 fertilized, 1 transferred, 9 frozen 5-day blasts - again a Moving on to a FET, likely in September or October.

Karen, I felt emotional after my acupuncture treatments - in a good way. I never had headaches, but I am not surprised, I woudl mention it to your practitioner.

Me: 35 healthy, no issues DH: 44 born w/o vas deferens, TESE not an option Happily married since 1997 10/2005 IVF unsuccessful Adopted our baby boy: May 2006 IUI#1 3/3 chemical pregnancy  IUI#2 3/18 trigger, one Big follie, 25.5, endo lining 12 3/19 IUI 101.6 million post-wash with 91% motility 3/20 IUI 82.1 million post-wash with 88% motility Did acupuncture and energy work this cycle, amazing. 3/31 & 4/1 POAS 4/2 1st beta 65! 4/4 2nd beta 158 4/8 3rd beta 1650!! 4/22 u/s saw one perfect bean, HB 146, 6wks, 5 days 5/1 first OB appt - u/s HB 174, 1.8cm - all perfect 5/23 appt, switched to Certified Nurse Midwife 6/24 Heartbeat strong and clear at 150bpm 7/2 amnio 7/7 results confirm Healthy Baby Boy! 7/29 21 week u/s, baby weighs 1lb, fluids and measurements all good. 8/26 CNM appt, everything is great and right on track 12/10/08 our due date - we will get to meet our 2nd little boy!

I did not feel anything negative at all for my first two sessions. I felt really balanced each time I left, and the feeling really has stayed with me. I'm also doing the herbs so maybe there really is a correlation? Don't give up and let them know next time you go back what happened. Good Luck to you on your quest for a baby!

Hey Rebecca! Congrats again on the BFP!!!! What great BETA's!
Yes, we're au naturale and on herbs with acupuncture for the next 3 cycles. So far, I've enjoyed it and think we've got a really good chance with a BFP on this plan. I've also had a phone consultation with another RE who thinks that the IVF will definately work for us. I'm hoping we get the BFP without have to go through IVF, but I do feel so much better after talking with him. Hope all is well with you and that you keep celebrating your awesome news! What was your energy work you did with your IUI? What exactly did they do?

Good to hear Iam not alone
yes I have a mild headache...nothing big but it bugs me ...because Iam hoping to feel like a million bucks when I done...my next apt is on Monday. hoping not to have a headache after.

me: 35-don't know problem had a baby in 05 no problems, easy. Dh:38-all good HSG-Nov.looked good day -progesterone 30 12/07-clomid 1, 3-7day Day 21 test 20 01/08-clomid 2, 3-7day Day 11 Day progesterone-98 very high! 3 follies, 2 on the other. 5 total! 2/12- how can you have a level of 98 with no +3/3-progesterone 28.8 -Natural this cycle w/ aroma rose scents -3/13-Af -3/26-IUI-no meds, o is just fine 4/2-progesterone 24 4/12-AF 4/22-US 4/25-IUI-DH-82mil- 4/26-IUI-DH-98 mil- 2WW Day 21, progesterone 27 5/11 Af 5/13-test w/Re 5/26-2ww 6/2-acupunture 6/3-low progesterone 7.9 (I think it was from US 6/15-AF 6/18- US.
