I have my second acupuncture appt. tomorrow. The first was several months ago and I wasn't very comfortable, so I'm going to a new clinic tomorrow. I had an IUI today and one yesterday. The new lady I talked to said she places needles in the abdominal area in a session after IUI or IVF. I know my first acupuncturist specifically said she did not place needles during the 2ww. Does anyone know if it is in fact OK to use needles in the ab area during the 2ww?

From what I have read, needles in the abdomen should be avoided during the 2WW. I would tell the acupuncturist you are not comfortable with needles being placed there. There are plenty of other points that can be used to increase blood flow to the uterus.
