Greatr success so far, thanks to accupunture
Yes on the 13th Feb I made my first thread asking for success stories with acupuncture. Mine is not a complete success yet, but we are definitely on the right way.
Two years ago when we decided we wanted a baby we found out that my DH had slow and few coward sperms (less than 7 million) so we were sent directly to IVF-ISCI. Apparently it was only male factor and I was ok, but then it turned out that after two failed IVF-ISCI where we obtained very few (4) mature eggs my doctor told me that although I was young (31) my genetics were not good and thus although my follicles (15-17 in total, all over 18 mm) developed well and in good number after the extraction the result was very bad. He said he recommended donor eggs. I insisted  on trying once more and started with acupuncture. One month and a half laterI had my extraction on Monday. I had 11 mature eggs!!  7 have fertilized. We are going to try to let them develop to blastocysts to see if we have more chance. My doctor (whom I am not particularly fond off but which is the one my insurance pays for..) said he did not think acupuncture could do any good  . I am happy to say he WAS WRONG. I am now keeping my fingers crossed to see if I make it to the transfer, but still it has been definitely a great advance. I highly recommend it and hope to give you all good news in a couple of weeks.  Love Marta

Oh, Marta, how wonderful for you!!!
 That's awesome, I hope all goes well for your ET - keep us updated......I am starting ap next week - Wed is my 1st appt/consult - I am nervous about it. So, I am excited to hear of your good news - it's very encouraging! Best wishes for BFP!

Yes, I promise to keep you all updated. I am really excited. It is a pity in Spain (which is where I live) no one believed in accupunture related to fertility. I am so glad I know English and decided to do research on my own!

Sorry, bad news
No luck this time
Anyway I am sure I will make it next. Will try with the 2 brozen blastos and if not will keep fighting until it takes to get what we deserve. Till then I have decided my life must not turn around infertility, and have decided to plan a trip to see my sister in Brussels and will start riding lessons, I have waited too long, time to take back the reins of my life. ********************* DH - 32 (very low count and mobility) Me - 31 apparently all ok, till my Doc said my eggs were bad quality... Sep. 07 - 1st IVF-ISCI. 13 eggs, only 4 mature, only 1 fertilized and transfered (6 cells). Dec. 07 - 2nd IVF-ISCI. 15 eggs, only 6 mature, 3 fertilized (but 2 died) and 1 transfered (7 cells) . My doctor suggests I try with donor eggs. I do not accept and decide to try once more.Jan 08 - Start with acupunture. I feel much better  March 08 - 3rd FIV-ISCI (treatment with antagonists) + acupunture. 15 eggs, 11 MATURE, 7 FERTILIZED, 4 BLASTOCYSTS!!! 2 transfered and two frozen. All 4 excellent quality. 05-april-08: only 13 days till blood beta analysis Please, please, let this be the one!!! 18 april 08: No luck, but I won't give up!

IVF JOURNEY 2008: 10/2-stims start us/good 10/05-US & bld wrk 10/07-20 follies E2 1213 ER 10/12 -Sunday 14 found, 8 fert. (2 2ab, 2bb 8cell frozen) 10/17 -Friday Transfer 2 (both 3bb 8cell) 10/27-the big test! BFN so sad! 11/3- start BCP, FSH 6 11/17 -Lupron, One more fresh round for back up 11/25-start stims
