Thanks for all the advice, I will google it now and get one...but he is not liking his arms in tight. How often did you feed your baby when they were newborns? he is eating like every 2-3 hrs and about 1 1/2 oz to 2, does that seem right?

Thanks again...oh and a playdate sounds great!!!!

Jackie, Haiden Patrick is a perfect name. I'm so glad to hear how in love and in awe you are of him. Yes, the beginning can be challenging as they tend to have their days and nights mixed up but he'll fall into his own routine soon enough. How long are you taking off of work for maternity leave? As for feeding, I breastfed Ethan until he was a month old so all I know is I fed every two hours around the clock, including waking him at night to eat. So if he's eating every 2-3 hours that sounds right to me. And of course we didn't forget about you!

it depends how much he wants to eat
our Elizabeth is about 6lbs right now and she eats 2.5 oz every 3 hours... we don't feed them any more often than that... Mike (just over 7lbs) was eating 3-3.5 oz until this evening... we upped it up to 4oz at his last feeding...
