Best agencies for adoption in Texas?
I am in New York City. I heard that agencies in Texas are more affordable but i am so new I have no clue. Any advice on this?

 Birdy,All states are different but I believe that in TX a birth parent can relinquish parental rights after 48 hours. This is certainly a "safer" state to adopt in versus a state like MD or PA where the birth mother has upto 30 days to relinquish their parental rights. If you google "Child Welfare Information Gateway" they have an entire section dedicated to adoption and state laws Good luck to you - I hope this helps Theresa
