wondering about adopting from China or Korea...any suggestions how to get started
My husband and I are thinking of adopting internationally and don't have a clue how to begin. does anyone know where we start. we currently live in Massachusetts.

3 failed IUI's 2 failed IVF's w/icsi 3 failed attempts at FET (lining to thin) IVF w/icsi and AH 9/6: ER-10 follicles 9/7: 8 mature, all 8 fertilized 9//9: ET 3 embies 9/20:  9/22: start BCP ER 10/22 ET 10/27 3 blasts 11/4 beta #1 357  11/6 beta #2 1093 11/11 beta #3 8453 (still spotting) 11/19 u/s 1 yolk sac and 1 little bean with hr of 113!!! 11/25 2 heart beats! A is 125 and B is 120!!  Twins!!!11/27 u/s two perfect heart beats 145 and 138! 12/03 u/s heart beats 156 and 160 measuring 8wks and 8w1d 12/30 NT scan w/ blood work. 2/21 cervix dilated and PROM with baby a. emergency cerclage which failed 2/25 delievered and lost baby a- 3/16 had to induce labor & deliver b due to infection. Devastated  2 angels watching over us8/09ivf#8 8/29ER 11-10 fertilized 9/3 transferred 2 blasts w/ thin lining  9/9  !9/11 beta#1 131 9/13 #2 487 9/16 #3 1694 13dp5dt 9/18 #4 2720 9/20#5 3232 9/23#6 4415 9/29 u/s HB of 115

Have you tried attending adoption info. seminars (either live or tele seminars) in your area? That would be a good start to get all the information that you need. You don't necessarily have to choose local agency to pursue international adoption. If you'd like I can PM you couple of agencies that I have chosen should our last IVF attempt fail. I would love for you to send the agencies you picked. Thank you. I didn't even know they had tele seminars either. Thank you for your hugs as well. We are still going through the grieving process but will try one more ivf attempt as well this summer/fall. My fingers are crossed for you that your next attempt works. Take care. Gina

Gina, I also live in MA. We did domestic adoption, but joined a group called Adoptions Communities of New England (ACONE) and they are a great resource. They have a website which will give you some good information as well. Best of luck to you!
