Update on me!

I haven't been posting much as I feel I am just trying to step away from my IF and adoption so if it doesn't happen I'm not as devastated.

We have decided to stop our adoption journey next July if we don't get matched. Today we got a letter in the mail that our social worker is quitting our agency and there hasn't been any birthmoms looking at profiles since May. So needless to say I'm bummed.

I will continue to check here from time to time and I love to see my preggo friends on here find their dreams. I am so blessed that I was able to find all of you to help me through my journey.

Sarah...I am So sorry to hear that you are sad and feel like giving up. I wish there was more I could say.

I don't know your history but I was just wondering if Foster-adopt was an option for you and hubby?
I have a few family members who did it and are completely happy they did. I know it's not for everyone.

Sarah,

I am so sorry for the disapointment you are facing. Is there another agancy in your area that has more birthmoms? I just don't want to see you regret your decision to end the journey.

You are the best cheerleader and I will always appreciate that in you. I will continue to pray for you. Good luck to you and God bless you!!!

Sarah- I am so sorry that there are so many bumps in the road. I have missed seeing you around. You are so caring and thoughtful. I get sad when I think of how lucky any child would be to have you and yet one has not been placed with you yet.

Please stay in touch. No matter what the future holds, we are all friends now.

Sarah I am so sorry to hear the news. I wish I could find the words to cheer you up. But remember God has plan for all of us. Just believe in your faith whatever it may be.
What about what Jessica said "Fostering" You have always been there for all of us. I am pretty sure there is some child out there that needs you, even if its a short while.
I know someone really close to me who was a foster child and her biggest role model was a woman she will call "mom" for the rest of her life. Because she taught her so many things and the best thing she ever gave my friend was her heart. Even as an adult she always went back to see her "mom".
I wish all the luck in the world in whatever you decide.

God Bless
xoxo

Sarah- I am sending you hugs ((((((()))))). I think since you have your paperwork in order for adoption you should transfer to another agency. You don't even have to work with one in your state. We have done two adoptions from a different state. Oh I just want you to see your hearts desire filled! ing for you!

Don't give Up Sarah

I truly believe that the child we are given is the one we are meant to have. Please don't close the doors to have a family. You are only 30 and I know how painful it can be. Fostering is a great option keep more than one method in the works, emotionally if you 've reached the endpoint we will all understand. Many hugs to you and peace. Penney

I agree that you should try to switch to a different agency or try foster adoption. My best friend is adopting a beautiful 4 yr old girl through the foster system and it happened pretty quickly..less than a year!

Sarah,

I keep checking this website so I can congratulate you when your day comes. If this is what you still truly want, don't give up. I would encourage you to think about switching to an agency that works with a larger volume of expecting moms, especially if you already have a valid homestudy.

Don't give up yet. We're all rooting for you!

Sarah- I am really sorry that things are going this way for you. I agree about looking into other agencies. Are you trying to take a complete break or would you be open to other possibilities? I bet some woman on here can offer ideas.

Miss you.

We would be open to other possibilities but we went with this agency because of the social worker. I would like to go local because I'm not willing to spend $50,000 but some of the other agencies we have been on a waiting list for and others since we have a child we aren't considered. I am open to foster-adopt but I can't convince my hubby to do it at all.
