My husband and I are about to start the adoption process in Washington State. We are on a wait list to join an agency here, but really want to get started. My question is this: Can you use two agencies at the same time to speed up the process. We are just so ready to be parents and bring home a baby! Also, does anyone have any experience with Journeys of the Heart Adoption agency?

Some agencies will let you use two at one time and some won't. You will have to ask when you interview them.

Ask the agencies you are considering working with. Some do NOT allow you to work with more than one agency. ours did not allow us to work with more than one. And depending on what the upfront fees are for each agency, it could get expensive to be on "the list" at multiple agencies.
On the other hand, I wished we hadnt put all of our eggs in one basket so to speak with one agency. We maybe couldve gotten a faster placement had we gone with more than one agency to get more exposure, but in the end, the wait was worth it for our DS!! I think you can only do so much to get yourself out there, the rest is in God's hands!!!
