I am very new to all this and new to this site so please excuse my ignorance. My DH and I have been ttc for 1 1/2 and we had our first iui on 9/14/09. I have definitely experienced soem wierd symptoms but of course I don't want to get my hopes up.

Has anyone had a after 1st iui? The only help I had was the ovidrel trigger. On 6 dpiui I had bad cramping and low back pain( just like af was coming) and just a teenie spot of pink on the toilet paper. Then nothing until day 8 piui. Day 8 I have had some cramping and had a little more pink spotting but now it's gone again. Today is d 9 piui and last night I was crampy, not too bad, and today a little too. Af isn't due until 28th and my cycle is like clock work.

Just wanted some insight and wondering if people have implantation cramping and spotting symptoms and it's really not. Keeping my fingers crossed and praying daily, hope someone can give me some positive news



p.s. i am healthy, clear tubes no scar tissue.
DH 1 % viable sperm so we used a donor

Hi I am new to this site as well. DH and I have been ttc for #2 for almost 2 years. I took a trigger shot on 9/200 and went for my 1st IUI on 9/21. I am only a few days after my IUI so have not had any symptoms. DH has low morphology at 3% and a lower count. Everything on my end looks okay.

I would think that your spotting is implantation bleeding. Lets hope! Keep me posted on what happens.

I hope we both have something to celebrate soon!

I hope so!! I really hope it works for you guys too. I hate getting my hopes up but with all the wierd things going on with my body I can't help but to think it's real I'm just wondering if these things can occur from the insemination side effects, it's been a while though so I just dont' know. I am driving myself cazy, lol. I guess I just need to pray and relax

I haven't read anything that those symptoms would be because of the insemination and like you said they didn't happen right after. All you can do is have faith and pray.

I will keep you posted. I am due for my AF on 10/4 so won't know much until then.

I'm doing my first IUI too, but just to give you some hope, another girl on these threads got preggo with TWINS on her first IUI!!!

Thanks Flashgirl! I needed to hear that. I keep seeing negative on 1st and 2nd attempts...I guess when it is your turn.

Thanks so much for that great news flashgal!!! That makes me feel a little better Blessed21306 I think you are right too, my head tells me it's real but my heart is warning me to be careful, lol. I guess I will have to wait and see I am going to test saturday morning, hopefully that won't be too early. I'm dyin to do it today but it's only 9 dpiui.

Hey ladies! If you're looking for some encouragement, hop on over to this thread.... it's full of ladies telling about their IUI's that resulted in BFP's... follie size, number of iui's, and how many dpiui they got that wonderful BFP!!!! I've been on there for the past 3 days straight!!!! And I test in 11 days! YAY!
