Question really dumb question

Whe you ovulate you are to increase how frequently you do the baby dance. So in the real world what does that mean and for how long? Does it mean daily or every other day or twice a day, I am confused.

Any answers would be great. Thanks so much!

Hey girl, that's not a dumb question. If your guy has a normal sperm count then everyday in your fertile period (3 days before O and the morning after) is good. If his count is marginal (or, I suppose, if you don't know what it is) then every other day should work well.

Btw, I was rereading your post and I just want to clarify that you need to BD BEFORE you ovulate. If you wait until you can see your thermal shift on a BBT chart then it'll be too late. You'd BD up until (and including) the morning you see a spike in your temperature.

Good to know. I appreciate it. They tell you to baby dance more frequentley but never tell you exactly when. So if ew did it say two days before then we are good right? Now when you ovulate are you supposed to feel crampy, almost like menstrual cramps but not quite?

If you had EW and then BD'd for 2 days, that should be good. The easiest way to tell if you ovulated is to do a BBT chart (but you need to do that all month long). Are you using OPKs? A positive result on one of those usually means you're going to ovulate within the next 36 hours or so.

And from what I've read, very few women actually feel pain when they ovulate, but it's possible. It's just not a good reliable way of determining that you are ovulating.

Good luck!

I have been recording my temp for the last 3 months and every month has been different. I did have the EWCM but I didnt use a OPK. I was told that the temp dips then spikes at ovulation. So.... I am things work out. How are things on your end? I am greatful forthe advice.

Hi Chrissy, I'm in my last cycle before IVF and I'm stressed. It would be so great if it worked out this cycle before I had to pay thousands of dollars for IVF and take all of those drugs, but it hasn't worked so far so I'm not holding out much hope. Anyway, it was very sweet of you to ask about me.

Btw, have you ever read "Taking Charge of Your Fertility"? I think it's a great resource and I learned so much with it.

Good luck girl!

You know that there is another drug out there that I was told has a better success rate then Clomid, its called Letrezole. They have used it in women with breast cancer and they started becoming let say and so they now apply it to PCOS and infertility. My best friend was having difficulty and her Dr. gave her the script for it and told her that he has never had to refill the script after 3 months. So it might be something to look too. I know that you are at the last cycle before IVF. That has to be frustrating.

Are you still doing the acupunture? I know that can make a big difference if you have the right therapist?( not sure thats what you would call them). If your stressed you should try getting a massage or even energy work done it can make you feel so much lighter in a sense. Almost like a weight has been lifted off your shoulder. I dont know where you are from but if you are near a city they are morel likely to have it then small towns.

Wishing you the best, and and for you.
