Need some support
Hi All,
I am not sure where else to turn as no place else on this site seems to respond to me, perhaps because I dont have any words of hope for anyone, that is what I am looking for. We found out today that none of our 4 eggs did anything. 2 of them did nothing and 2 of them fertilized but both did so with 2 sperm. Has anyone been here? I feel a loss even though I did not get to the transfer stage. I know it sounds nuts! I have had one miscarriage a few years ago so I know what you all are going through as well. any words of wisdom would be much appreciated.

I'm so sorry to hear your cycle did not work. I also had a failed cycle in February. We ended up with three embryos to transfer, however; none of them made it. No matter where you fail in the process, its still the same heartbreaking feeling. I've taken March and probably April off and will try again in May. Talk to your RE about various protocols that can help with egg quality. This website gives some good info.
Advanced Reproductive Care Center, IVF and Fertility Clinic in Irving, Texas serving Dallas and Fort Worth, Dr. Sy Q Le Also, because of my age, we are the same (39), my RE has suggested the option of PGD testing. I'm not completely convinced to do it, its so expensive. Again, I wish you luck in your journey and dont give up. I've read some pretty amazing stories on here... ![]() |

Hope...
I know your original posting is dated March of 2009. I just wanted to tell you I will be praying for you and sending positive thoughts your way. My husband and I just went through a similar situation. 10 matured eggs only three fertilized and only made it until day three. They never reached blastocyst. This just happenned Tuesday so I know what you are going through. I had a miscarriage after IVF back in 2006 however we tried again in 2007 and we have a beautiful little 18 month old boy. Please, don't give up, there is always hope.... I will be thinking of you please keep us posted...

Hi ladies,
I am also between treatments because my thyroid TSH came back low so I need to take the next month to adjust my meds (I have hypothyroid). First IUI did not take. I have a very rude question...for those of you doing multiple treatment cycles (IUI multiple times and then IVF) how are you paying for it? Especially for those of you who have moved on to IVF. My husband and I are quite financially comfortable but I still worry about being able to pay for all of this. My insurance covers insemination now but only until October 1 -- then it won't cover any infertility treatments. Are you getting financial help? If yes, from where? Or are you just using savings? I'm so sorry for asking this question but I just worry about it (and that certainly doesn't help things!). Thank you in advance for your candor. |

Hi there,
so sorry to hear about this.Had a friend who suffered from this same illness for more than 15years.After taking a secretive treatment from a herbalist in Victoria-Cam,it was all over. She did this without the knowledge of her doctors, friends and family members because they did not believe in herbs. so my dear,I will advice you to do same. When we are faced with health problems like this,it`s always good to try all for no one knows where the treatment will come from.Mail the herbalist and explain all to him and I believe you will have good news for all of us afterward. mail him through sharetestimonieswus at yahoo dot com. please do keep me inform regarding your interaction with him.Good luck. wiil. |
