Ovarian Cyst...go away!

Hi Everyone!

I thought I'd share my experience with you all. Just Monday, I went in to see my REI doc for an ultrasound. It was a deciding factor for me to proceed with an HCG shot and IUI.

I was put on Femara 7.5, and on Day 11 (Monday) I went in for my ultrasound. My husband came along with me for this experience. Anyways, while having my ultrasound, I noticed that I had finally developed eggs and I know at least one of the eggs were 15mm. The doctor's reaction was good and said, "We can give you the shot today!" and I was excited because it has been one year and 2 months to have seen an egg, which means that femara is working for me. Clomid did not work at all. I felt that I wasted my time of Clomid. Anyways, the dr. checked the right side and left...but, on my right side he noticed an Ovarian Cyst!!! ERR. which then said, we have to postpone the HCG shot and IUI till next month to see if the cyst went away. He said, he doesn't do the HCG and IUI when there is a cyst present.

Man, I was soooooooo close! I just wanted to have my IUI done already. I hoping to get pregnant by September..(it's my bday month) anyways, I'll try to be patience and pray that that cyst goes away. Also, who knows now that I have an egg and maybe there's a chance me and my husband can get pregnant on our own with out the hcg or shots! Cross my fingers!!!

Anyways, I just wanted to share my experience with you all. All your posting and feedback are always appreciated!

I hear ya, sister. I've been trying "naturally" for two months while I wait for a TON of cysts on both my ovaries to shrink so I can get back to injectables/IUI. I go in tomorrow to see if they've shrunk - I'm really hoping so, because after seven months of treatments, unmedicated cycles feel like a waste of time at this point.

I hope next cycle is the lucky one for BOTH of us!
