Question about Meds
Hey Ladies,
I was wondering if someone might be able to help me with this. I asked the nurse but I didn't get a clear answer. I am in between treatments right now. My work required me to be in another state for 6 weeks so I was unable to see my RE regularly. We have tried Clomid and I am a poor responder. My RE told me he wants me to come in for an IVF consultation. In the meantime, he told me to take 2 cycle of Provera and then go on Birth Control. (Regulating my period). I am on my second cycle of provera. I'll be done in 4 days and I know AF will be coming soon. Should I take the first pill of birth control on the 1st day of AF or on the last day of AF? I'm trying to count the days but I keep confusing myself. What do you gals think?

Yikes, that's a good question. When I was on BC I was a Sunday starter so now matter what, I always took the first active pill on Sunday.

I was always told to leave the inactive pills for the end. So I would start the day after AF ends with the active pills.

Hi. I was on BCP for two months. Both time they had me start an Active pill on CD3. I think your RE/RN should give you clear direction to when you are supposed to start what. At least I would ask (demand) that.
