[Cemp]

I saw my RE today and he said that I have fluid in my left tube. I had surgery in 2006 to fix a blocked tube from a birth defect. We are getting ready to start another round of IVF. My doctor said let's wait for the baseline to see if the fluid is gone. If it is we will proceed if not he said he will cancel and then possibly repair or remove. HAs anyone had a tube removed and it did help with IVF results?

I guess I don't understand waiting to see if the fluid goes down because where does it go and can't it be toxic to an embryo? WE had an implantation the last round and everything looked great with the embryo. What I don't understand is did this fluid somehow cause the embryo not to attach? The last round I remember at an ultrasound I was told there was some fluid, but nothing to worry about and then a few months later when we are trying IVF again there is more fluid. SO was it always there and causing the problem? I know I just wrote a lot, but I just want to get other thoughts on this. So if there is fluid, do we remove the tube? I also have low ovarian reserve so I am not really sure what is the biggest issue. I just hate the thought of a toxic fluid in my body. Thanks for any help.
