Good luck to you and your husband. You are lucky his morph and motility is as good as it is!! My husband had testicular cancer and has 3% motility. We can only attempt to get pregnant via IVF with ICSI.
I'm sorry to hear about your miscarriages. Praying this will be your month.

Hi Samia,
Your story touched me deeply. I too am a cancer survivor of osteosarcoma. I had mine in 2001. I had a major operation to save my leg and 2 years of physiotherapy. I knew when I got cancer the chemo could make me infertile but it did not matter to me at the time because I just wanted to survive. I am now cancer free and thank God everyday I am alive. Years later I want a baby and my infertility is a reminder of what I went through plus I am now 40 so the only way we could have a child is through egg donor. My heart goes out to your husband. He has been through so much. I am praying that your baby dreams come true!

Thank you Baby steps for your concern..but our story goes on further. In Oct 2007 my hubby had a recuurency of the cancer, we are now in another country getting treatment..he is at Stage 4. Before we came here we did freeze sperms and the sample was very healthy and clinic said that whenever we are ready we can try..my fight with PCOS is getteing better..I am regular with my periods now and my RE said that my ovaries look much better.
But more than anything I just want my hubby to survive this..and if God willing we will try for a baby..but If I can just have him with me..I will never ask for anything us...not even a baby.

Hi,
First, I would like to apologize for My English, I'm a French canadian. I'm 43 and the blessed mother of 4. I had an osteosarcoma at the age of 15 (1980) and they had to amputate my left leg above my knee. I had metastasis in my lungs and was not supposed to survive more than 4-6 months. Back in 1980, my case was very desperate and I had very aggressive chemo treatments for 2 years every 3 weeks. It has been a real nightmare. Because of the highly toxic side effects of the treatments, I was not supposed to have a child on my own, but for the doctors, it was not a problem because I was not even supposed to survive!! But I did! So, we adopted our first child in China (13 years ago). I also have been diagnosed with severe endo and retroverted uterus 15 years ago (lap + Zoladex for 6 mths). In spite of all this, I have been blessed by three miraculous natural pregnancies. Our youngest child is 16 months. Rebecca is our little angel and she brings us so much joy and love. I am still breastfeeding her 2 times a day. We would really like to have another child and are trying for 8 months now but we know that at our age, it will be difficult. My husband and I have been tested and everything seems okay, my FSH was 7. I just started my first Clomid cycle March 2nd (day 5-9) and an IUI will be performed next week. We are very positive and confident that it may help us to conceive. Yes, miracles do happen! In fact, I am one of them! Hold on to your dreams and never forget, that you are a lot more than statistics. My prayers and thoughts are with all of you. The best of luck to everyone and a for this month!

Thank you very much for your kind and encouraging words. My husband is still fighting the cancer, his first chemo protocol failed and he is trying another one. And all we have is faith in GOD that keeps us going. I would love to have his children but if I can just have him healthy and not suffering that is more than enough for me. He is on Stage 4, and not many hospitals we approached wanted to treat him and said just live your days left, but by grace of GOD we found a great hospital in Turkey which is affilaited with Johns Hopkins. I just know in my heart he will be fine. Thanks and keep us in your prayers.
